I wanted to write and let you know how my adventure has gone so far. It was a long car ride home - mainly because Mickey and Sandy both had to stop and go potty. You would think that being intellectual humans they would have coordinated their schedules better and been more efficient. They really should learn to be more instinctual and follow the example of dogs and just had a pee potty all in one spot.
We made it back to Grantville and CJ, Cricket and I got out of the car. Someone needs to medicate Cricket, that boy has entirely too much energy! Sandy finally got him off me and we got into the house where mayhem ensued. You would have thought that I had never been around Cassie before. That bitch would not shut up! Her shrill barking made me nervous and the next thing I knew a huge yellow horse that Sandy called Cooper came galloping at me. Have you ever met Cooper? He has these paws that are as big as my head and could very easily has squished me. Fortunately for him, he settled down and Sandy put this thing on his head - I think she must shop at one of the local lingerie shops because it had a hole for his snout to hang out. I was a little surprised, Sandy seemed to dress conservatively - I didn't expect her to allow her pet to allow intimate parts to show.
Cassie was still shrieking in her crate. It was worse than the singing session that they had when we visited with them earlier this month. Sandy just went over and stood in front of her cage - I think Sandy is a little slow, it took her a while to figure out how to open the door and let Cassie out. Maybe we could get her some lessons on how to operate doors, I'm sure Cassie would like it a lot better if Sandy could open the door faster.
Anyway, everybody was out and both Cooper and Cassie were sniffing me in places I'd rather not mention. Could you ask Sandy to explain to them that a lady prefers dinner before having some strange dog sniff? If they won't buy dinner, maybe they could buy the lady a drink, like a single malt scotch at least?
We all went to the door and it was really strange - all of those dogs had to be quiet before Sandy would open the door. Then she said "Back" - I'm pretty sure Sandy is a little slow - just how did she expect to get out of the door if we had to keep back?
We were outside for a while and the boy dogs were all standing in line waiting for their turn at the pee potty and then we were led back into the house. Cassie and Cooper were put back in their crates and Sandy went outside and brought my crate in the house. Sandy put a slip lead around my neck and walked me over to the crate, I walked right in and curled up on my nice soft dog bed! Cricket and CJ also went into their crates and soon the lights went out for the night.
I slept very well last night, Cassie woke Sandy up when she got awake and saw me lying in my crate. We had our morning pee potty and breakfast. Sandy said we are going to go for a walk today. I must go and rest up, I need to keep up my energy to continue playing with Cricket.
I hope you are doing well and don't miss me too much. I will write more tomorrow and let you know how I am doing.
Love, sniffs and kisses,
Daisy
